Unacademy Community for Educators
Unacademy Community for Educators is basically a community consisting of all our active educators and will be used as a single source to send all communications from Unacademy’s side to educators.
Problem
Currently, we use Intercom ( Outsources to another company), emails, PN’s, and calling to communicate any new updates or announcements to our educators. The targeting of these communications was also inefficient and intruding.
This initiative will help us have a single one-stop tool/ single source of truth for educators to receive all updates from our side. This also initiates moving away from an intercom to an inbuilt tool for partner communication which is a part of our cost-saving initiatives that will help us save 30 to 40 lakhs of rupees a month.

Impacts
The feature was shipped about three weeks, and I truly believe that it was easily one of the most extensive and impactful design projects.
